Alessi - Hmm charging for speaker

From the versatile talent of Marcel Wanders comes the project The Five Seasons, an original exploration of the world of home fragrances. Five essences that come in a complete collection of objects for the fragrance of the rooms. Five enveloping olfactory suggestions for which Wanders chooses equally evocative names: Ahhh, Hmm, Grrr, Brrr and Shhh.

Marcel Wanders

Born in Boxtel in 1963, he graduated from the Arnhem Art Institute and in 1995 he opened a studio in Amsterdam. It gained critical attention in 1996, thanks to its iconic Knotted Chair chair, which integrates high-tech materials and "smart" production techniques. He’s a particularly prolific designer, as well as artistic director of over 1700 projects for private clients and prestigious brands like Magis, Alessi, Flos and others.

Considered by many an exception in the world of design, the designer’s mission is to "create an environment of love, live with passion and make our most beautiful dreams come true." In his creations Marcel often mixes innovative materials and techniques with references to historical styles and well-defined archetypes, so that the user can easily get in touch with the product, enjoying it for a long time and, thus, creating a sustainable environment.

Alessi founded in 1921 as a Workshop for the processing of brass and nickel-silver plates, with foundry, it is recognized for the high quality of its products. In nearly a century of history it has gradually evolved to become a leading exponent of the "Factories of Italian design".
